--UPDATE--
As of April 2004 I am now racing on Comer W60 with Head 2 Head Motorsport

I am currently racing this season (2004) in the Comer S60 Formula Cadet Class in two seperate championships at Three Sisters Racetrack and Glan-Y-Gors Park, and I aim to go National in the MSA British Championship & Super 1 Comer W60 Series in 2005 season.

LATEST:

CRABTREE 4TH AT THREE SISTERS MAY 2004 ( COMER W60 / TONY KART)
After his terrible crash at Glan-Y-Gors in march which required a helicopter airlift, Luke bounced back with a great race weekend at Three Sisters in May. Thanks to Nick Abbot at Head 2 Head for providing the new Tony Kart chassis and engine assembly. It was a fantastic race weekend seeing some great battles between McGuire, Isherwood and Crabtree. The Top three slots were well and truly ruled by Murphy, Warburton and Tunnicliffe, With Tunnicliffe setting a new W60 three sisters track lap record with 47.739, Luke's best time of the day 48.435.
Thanks to everyone for all the support after Luke's crash in Wales.

CRABTREE 2nd AT GLAN-Y-GORS PARK (21st MARCH 2004)
After struggling to make the pace on Saturday practice with some of the worst weather in karting history over the weekend, Luke managed a very nice 2nd in the Comer S60 final on Sunday. A disappointing last place in heat 1 after being shunted off at spoon, and a fourth in the second heat left Luke in 12th position for the final grid. After a brilliant first couple of laps and managing to avoid any trouble Luke soon nipped through the field into third place. Dizyra and Longley were leading comfortably and had managed to create a fantastic cushion between 2nd and third place. Luke hung in and slowly chipped them down although the final had been shortened to 10 laps due to the excessive weather. On the start of the last lap Dizyra and Longley had it in the bag but unfortunately for Ryan he over leaned his carb and blew on the last lap !! Luke strolled past and laughed his way into a well earned second place.

CRABTREE LEADS S60 FINAL FOR TEN LAPS AT THREE SISTERS (Feb 2004)
After a nightmare in the first heat and a straight win in the second, Luke was in fourth place on the grid for the final. A great rolling and start and a tussle in the first corner leading into valley left a gap wide open for Luke to get into first place. He then led comfortably for ten laps, setting the S60 best time of the day at 55.31. A slide into a half spin at the bottom of the valley left him in a nasty fifth place with two laps to go. Luke managed to grab back two places and ended up settling for third behind Balmer and Dizyra. A great result for the first time out in the new wright chassis.

On return into the Parc Ferme Luke was heard to say "Gutted, I thought i had it boxed !!"

W60 was won by Jimmy Galloway with a fastest lap of (51.78) and second was
British champion Anthony Moss with fastest lap of the day (51.71)
